Service & Missions
Join us in serving our community for Christ
Missions at Calvary
Calvary supports many local mission opportunities and partners with several non-profits locally as well. Additionally, we provide several opportunities each year to serve in mission projects and mission trips here in Kentucky, within the United States, as well as abroad. If you would like general information on Calvary missions or if you are interested in learning about any of our specific missions opportunities, please call the church office at 859.254.3491 or email Chuck Powell
Year Round Mission Opportunities
Build a Bed
Calvary's Build a Bed Ministry serves local families in helping to provide beds for children. Referrals are made through FCPS Resource Officers. All ages are invited to help cut, sand, and stain beds. Beds are delivered and assembled in homes and include bedding, a pillow, a nightlight, and a nighttime kit.
Clothed by Grace
Clothed by Grace is Calvary's clothing closet that serves our local community. They offer seasonal clothing in adult sizes, all of which has been donated. All guests of the clothing closet are required to make an appointment to visit. Appointments can be made by calling the Recreation Outreach Center (ROC).
God's Pantry
Calvary partners with God's Pantry to fight food insecurity. We need volunteers to work a shift on Tuesdays or Thursdays 4:30-7PM at the food distribution center at St. Luke's Church. Volunteers must be 18+ years old to serve.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels provides meals to senior adults in our local community. Calvary partners with Meals on Wheels to serve shifts each day of the week, Monday thru Friday. Shifts are from XX to XX. Volunteers must be 18+ years old.
Seasonal Mission Opportunities

Calvary Christmas Project
Every year since 1975, Calvary Baptist Church has reached out to families in need throughout our community with the Calvary Christmas Project. Calvary receives referrals through FCPS and provides about 100 families groceries and a gift for each child the week before Christmas.
