Maria joined Calvary's staff in 2026 after serving twenty years with Fayette County Public Schools. She serves as Minister to Families with Children. Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky (2006), a Master of Arts in Education with a Literacy Endorsement from Georgetown College (2011), and a Master of Arts in Education Administration from Western Kentucky University (2024). Starting in January 2027, Maria will be attending Baptist Seminary of Kentucky to pursue a Master of Arts in Ministry Studies. Maria and her husband (Ryan) have three children (Mia, Maggie, and Madelyn). She is an active volunteer with her daughters' schools and can often be found at the dance studio supporting her girls' love of dance!
