This Week at Calvary:
Wednesday, February 8 Youth Renovations (6-12th Grades) Bible Study Come to Renovations this week for lectio divina Bible study. We will read, ask questions about, and listen for what God is telling us through the lectionary Scriptures of the week. Meet in the Youth Lounge at 6pm for Highs and Lows. We will dismiss at 7:15pm.
Sunday, February 12 (Grades 6-12) Youth Choir, Dinner, and Discipleship resume this week! We are starting a 4 week series titled Faith in the Old Testament. This week we will look at offerings and sacrifices--why people offered them and what God wanted. It all starts with Choir at 5pm in the Choir Room. Dinner will begin at 5:50pm in the Youth Lounge and Discipleship will start at 6:15pm. See you there!

***Winter 2012 Snow Days*** If Fayette County Public Schools cancels school due to weather, come to the ROC at 10am for basketball and other gym games and then stay for lunch together downtown. Got questions? Contact Jason!

Parent Ministry Sunday School Group, Sunday, February 12
All parents of youth are invited to attend this special small group time just for them during the Sunday School hour. We will meet in the Fireside Room at 9:45am for a time of sharing, encouragement, and discussion.Coffee, donuts, and juice will be provided. Make plans to attend!
30-Hour Famine Lock-In, February 24-25 (Grades 7-12)
You came to the kickoff in January and you've been raising money for the 30-Hour Famine. What's next? The 30-Hour Famine lock-in! This lock-in will include TRIBE, a team-based survivor game, duct-tape survivor (it is what it sounds like!), a service project benefiting God's Pantry, and lots of games, discussions to learn more about hunger, and even a good night's rest! We will begin at 6:30pm in the Youth Lounge on Friday, February 24 and dismiss at 7:30pm in the Youth Lounge on Saturday, February 25. (We will conclude the famine lock-in with an easily digestible meal and Lord's Supper.) Sign up by contacting Jason!
KBF Youth Mission Weekend, March 23-25 (Grades 7-12)
Join youth from across the state for this mission weekend in Jackson and Booneville. We will work on small construction projects, enjoy a Passport-style party, and worship! Cost will be $50/youth and that include 2 nights in a hotel and all of your meals. Sign up by February 12!
Spring Break Retreat to Panama City Beach, March 31-April 6 (Grades 7-12)
Come to the beach for Spring Break and "Wade in the Water!" We will spend 4 days at the Blue Horizon Retreat Center on the Gulf Coast soaking up the sun and surf, enjoying plenty of free time and games, and learning more about the spiritual waters of our lives. Cost will be $150/youth and this includes all of your transportation, food (we will split into meal teams), and accommodations. Sign up by February 26th! If you would like attend but need financial assistance, please contact Jason. No one will be left out if they want to go!
