Children play a vital role in the life of Calvary Baptist Church. We do our very best to help children develop and grow in their Christian faith through the music, as well as other activities to stimulate creativity through the arts.
The primary music activity for children is our fully graded children’s choir program. Each Wednesday night during the school year at 5:45PM our children (3yrs. through fifth grade) experience music through singing, playing instruments and movement. Staffed by wonderful Christian role models, this is a time for fellowship, music making and learning the fundamentals of music and the Christian faith.
As children are exposed to the joyful spirit of music they begin building a foundation for a life-long love of singing. During these formative years our children learn how music and creative arts help us communicate with God. Throughout the year our children lead in worship services and sing for seasonal programs.
